Was Swami vivekananda wrong on Geeta?

A person posted this indicating a contradiction of thought between People of Modern India and Swami Vivekananda. Although I fully accept that there may be contradiction of thought as time has changed. There are some eternal truths while there are some time dependent truth. On one hand the eternal truth always remains valid and is applicable in any scenario while time dependent truth are given as solution of problem for any specific point of time. The second one has to be understood in the context it has been said. The message of Swami ji is very clear and that is the message of strength. While some people may take the above line of swami ji as insult of Srimad Bhagwad Geeta. But it is not. Why swami ji said so has to be understood well. In one of his lectures he clarifies it. "You will not be able to understand the message of strength provided by Upnishads and Geeta if you are physically not strong and mere reading of Bhagwat gita is not going to do any good for you."
We need to understand this statement in this context.

Some on has objection on "To be religious, you have to throw the books overboard." and "Books make us parrots."

Ashutosh Garg's: AnswerYes right, Now come to this point. This has been said in context of True Religious it means attaining the ultimate goal. Moksha which is not bounded by senses books etc. Books give mere preparation for this ultimate journey. Here I would like to quote RamKriasha Paramhas who used to say after long time of samadhi The feeling when you are in samadhi goes beyond what has been said in vedas and Upnishads. The reason behind is what has been said in any book is limited because of our sense but feeling in samadhi is not limited by sense.
